The Anzacs attacked Gallipoli during World War 1 to attack Turkey (The
ottoman empire).

The Media uses Gallipoli as a showboat to say that they saved us and
were protecting us.

It has been 1 hundred years since Anzac day started

Over 16000 people died during World War 1.
·
Many people lied about their age to enter the army as they thought it
was going to be an adventure.
